Europe becomes more open for Ukrainians

Between Ukraine and the European Union Ukraine - EU is planned to sign the agreement paraphed earlier on visa regime simplification on June, 18th this year within the limits of session of Council of cooperation. The constant representative of Ukraine has informed on it at European Cоюзе Novel SHpek, passes unian.

"If there will be nothing unforeseen, we would like on June, 18th, within the limits of session of Council of cooperation Ukraine - EU, to sign the agreement. There are serious bases to believe, that till the end of current year all legal procedures will manage to be finished. And since January, 2008 the agreement will enter validity", - R.Shpek in interview to the newspaper "News in Ukraine", published on Friday has told.

As he said, now in Ukraine and in the European Union countries the co-ordinated performance of all technical procedures necessary for signing of the agreement proceeds.

Nevertheless, R.Shpek has noticed, that it is not necessary to exclude and unexpectedness. "Some embassies of the European states began to connect intermediary firms that raises cost of visas" to process of issue of visas, - it has explained. In its opinion, the Ukrainian press about it writes a little and, "sootvetsvenno, poorly forms the relation of simple citizens to this unhealthy tendency".

R.Shpek also has noticed, that "in executive structures of EU watch a visa situation in Ukraine". In its opinion, on it the statement of the official representative of Eurocommission of Emma Udvin testifies.

As is known, EU co-ordinates simplification of a visa regime to contract signing about readmissii.

On February, 15th in Bruxelles technical negotiations of experts of Ukraine and the European commission concerning jazykovo-legal conformity of the texts of agreements paraphed on October, 27th, 2006 in Helsinki Ukraine-EU about simplification of registration of visas and readmissii have taken place. By results of negotiations all problems of jazykovo-legal character have been removed.

On the termination of session the director of State department concerning adaptation of the legislation of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine Lana Zerkal has declared, that agreements on simplification of a visa regime and about readmissii Ukraine-EU can be signed in June, 2007. At the same time, L.Zerkal has expressed opinion, that during ratification of documents in the Ukrainian parliament there can be problems "because of misunderstanding of questions which are connected with readmissiej".

Ukraine and EU paraphed agreements on simplification of a visa regime and about readmissii on October, 27th during the summit Ukraine-EU in Helsinki.

Besides, Ukraine and Denmark have agreed about simplification of a visa regime for the Ukrainian citizens. About it it is spoken in the message of the press-service of the President. "Speaking about achievements in the Ukrainian-Danish relations, the head of the Ukrainian state has noted signing today agreements on simplification of registration of visas, having named this step" sign break ", - is spoken in the message. The Press-service has not given a detail of this document.

Earlier Ukraine has simplified a visa regime with Rumuniej. According to arrangements, for Ukrainians of the visa became free. In turn, Ukraine for citizens of Romania has cancelled a visa regime.
