The first wine SPA-hotel will construct in Bessarabia

The Ukrainian tour operators are going to offer compatriots a unique kind of tourism. Next year they will open doors of the wine spa-hotel first in the country. Which services will be offered and under what prices, it is not known yet. Pioneers hope, that the hotel will be a success both at foreign, and at domestic gourmets from tourism. As they are not going to to refuse from already become popular degustatsionnogo directions.

As Tatyana Telpuk, the director of tourist agency "European standard" realising this unique project has told to the edition "NOW", today there are two kinds of wine rounds: one means tasting vinodelcheskoj production, another – wine spa-procedures. «If to speak about art of consumption of wine, today a number of the Ukrainian tour operators offer tourists so-called degustatsionnye rounds, – Mrs. Telpuk marks. – First of all it is characteristic for Crimea. As to vinoterapii this service while exists only abroad».

Vinoterapija is a treatment with application of derivatives of a grapevine: stones, vyzhimok and berry covers. It is necessary to notice, that the list of the best specialised wine spa recently has been published. Into it have entered Marques de Riscal (Spain), Les Sources de Caudalie Bordeaux (France), Sante Winelands Hotel and Wellness Centre (Southern Africa), Wine and Spa Resort Loisium Hotel (Austria), Patios de Cafayate Hotel and Spa (Argentina), Kenwood Inn and Spa (Sonoma, California), Relais San Maurizio (Italy) and some other.

Understanding, that demand for wine spa-services grows, and in Ukraine this niche is still free, domestic businessmen have decided to operate, despite the fact that what the aspiration the first to be frequently interfaced to certain risks. According to experts, this business demands considerable capital investments: after all besides advancement of a new kind of tourism it is necessary also to form demand for it.

Now the project on spa-hotel creation is in a realisation stage. According to Mrs. Telpuk, the list of spa-services in improvement and a rejuvenation will be presented more close to hotel opening (preliminary name the middle of 2008), no less than cost of wine procedures. However already now it is known, that the first Ukrainian wine spa-hotel will be guided by a narrow circle of tourists as stay in him will cost very much.

«We have studied those offers which are today in Ukraine, and have stopped on Bessarabia (with. Krinichnoe, the Odessa region), – speaks Mrs. Telpuk. – There recently was openly new vinodelcheskoe the enterprise. Wines here are processed on classical technology on the modern European equipment from own grapes which have been grown up in the best grape zone on coastal southwest slopes of lake Jalpug».

To begin with organizers plan to involve in bessarabsky edge of foreign tourists which come to us across Danube, and to offer them tasting of samples of ecologically pure Ukrainian wines as, according to Mrs. Telpuk, «they more highly appreciate such art». However and the Ukrainian tourists without attention will not leave – promise to offer them degustatsionnye rounds in bessarabsky edge in the autumn. «When the spa-hotel project will be realised, we plan to refuse completely foreign wine rounds and we will work only for Ukraine», – Mrs. Telpuk has underlined.

Though opening of the first Ukrainian spa-resort not far off, obviously, what is it exclusively private initiative which is not a part of nation-wide strategy of development of tourism. «We try to advance actively such direction as wine tourism, and prospects at it are, - the deputy minister of resorts and tourism AR has noted in the comment to the edition« NOW »Crimea Daniel Sarbej. – For today in Crimea four constantly work degustatsionnyh a hall – factory" Koktebel ", factory of sparkling wines, associations« Massandra "and" Magarach ». We would like to develop this direction in the pure state that to us came for the purpose of acquaintance with vinodelcheskoj the industry of Crimea».

As to such direction of wine tourism as vinoterapija, Mr. Sarbej has noticed, that some Ukrainian health resorts offer such kind of improvement, however the complex program on its development while is not present. According to the expert, wine tourism should be directed mainly on revival of culture of consumption of wine and vinodelcheskoj to production, acquaint tourists with drink history, technologies of its manufacture and, certainly, flavouring qualities.
