As the deputy chief of department of culture and tourism, the chief of department of arts and tourism Lvov oblgosadministratsii Andrian Klishch has informed today, are reserved not only places in all existing hotels of Lvov, but also in what are under construction and even what exist only in the project.

The head of the Lvov association of development of tourism Igor Matseljuh has told, that already now in a city shortage of hotels of a tourist class - three-stars is felt. As he said now in Lvov is three thousand kojko-places and it is not enough of it. Igor Matseljuh asserts, that in a case if enough of hotels of appropriate level tourists who will arrive on the European championship on football, will go on a lodging for the night to Poland will not be constructed.

Earlier it was informed, that in the Lvov City Council the separate department concerning preparation of a city for the football championship of Euro-2012 will be created. As the mayor of Lvov of Igor Sadovyj has declared, investments on championship preparation are expected at a rate of $1 billion For this money a city plans to update a tourist and sports infrastructure of Lvov.

In the meantime, the capital authorities plans to improve qualitatively a hotel infrastructure to Euro-2012. In particular, considerable expansion of a hotel network at the expense of attraction of investments both internal, and foreign operators is planned. It was declared by the first vice-president of the Kiev city state administration (KGGA) Denis Bass.

As have informed in press-service KGGA, are at present already prepared and in the near future will be considered at session Kievsoveta of Position about an order of carrying out of investment competitions which "will effectively promote attraction of investors". "According to requirements UEFA, our city does not suffice about 10 thousand places in hotels of a various category of comfort. And we this requirement, certainly, will execute", - has noted D.Bass, having underlined, that till the end of current year Sacred Sofia Kiev "categories" 5 stars "on street Tarasovoj, 5, a hotel complex"Riviera"of a category" 4 stars "on street Sagajdachnogo and category hotel" 4 stars "on street Konstantinovsky, 34 is planned to instal hotel" Hayatt Regensy.

Besides, throughout 2008-2010 should be opened 29 more corresponding objects, among which 6 - categories of "5 stars" and 6 - categories of "4 stars". Expansion of a hotel network passes in frameworks of the Concept of development of tourism in Kiev till 2010.

Also on consideration in Kievsovete there is a project of the program of creation of a network of small hotels that should support a small-scale business in sphere of a hotel economy and create an investment climate favorable for it. For example, it is offered to confirm the scheme of placing about such 60-70 hotels and, thus, to order assignment of the ground areas under their building. "Such scheme will give the chance to generate also investment offers for attraction of investors to realisation of the given projects.

Interest to this sphere is shown both internal, and by the foreign companies. On the Kiev market such known network operators as "Radisson", "Intercontinental Ноtel Group", "Hауаtt", "Нilton", "Gelendzhin Ink" and others have come. Therefore we count, that till the end of 2010 in our city already there will be 28 small hotels capacity more than 2 thousand places ", - has noted D.Bass.

Let's remind, at present in Kiev 119 hotels of a various pattern of ownership and the departmental submission, by having 8882 numbers on 15 thousand 964 places are registered.
