In Crimea have opened church-beacon

On southern coast of Crimea in village Malorechensky under Alushtoj have consecrated church-beacon, informs news agency REGNUM.

Sacred Nikolay's temple Mirlikijsky is devoted those who was lost on water, and travellers. The height dvuhprestolnogo a temple with top and bottom levels makes 54 metres. Instead of a traditional dome the church crowns a gold cross, under which sphere - a symbol of the Earth. In a sphere the beacon for sea courts also is arranged. In a decorative frame the sea subjects are used.

In due course in a temple plan to arrange a showroom with exhibits from the Ukrainian and Russian sea museums. Parishioners can leave in him names of victims on water of relatives. They will be put on external walls of church.

It is known about approximately ten similar beacons existing in the world. One of them is in Russia. It is the largest beacon by the White sea – Rise church on a grief Sekirnoj on Solovkah. It is designed so, that light from a pocket small lamp or a candle suffices it.

In Crimea as a beacon use also church of Revival Christ's (Forossky church), located in Forose at height of 427 m above sea level on a way to pass Bajdarsky gate. Erected in 1892 in memory of Alexander's wonderful rescue III and his families during train wreck, it is nightly highlighted, till now being a reference point for sea courts.
