Ukraine and Georgia will connect one more steam Company "Укрферри" namerena to open a ferry Kerch-Poti in September. On it to journalists was informed by the president of company "Укрферри" Alexander Kurljand. As he said, already now in Kerch the ferry complex is under construction. It has expressed hope, that this complex will start to work in September, informs Obkom. As he said, the quantity increase steam is necessary, as at present the company is sometimes compelled to refuse in transportations because of shortage of resources. The route from Ukraine to Georgia will decrease for 550 km, and the distance will be almost in 2 times less, than distance between Ilyichevsk and poti between which the ferry now operates. The new line will allow to transport in addition not less than 500 thousand tons of cargoes. It is predicted, that additional incomes of the freight will make more than 20 million griven, and deductions in the budget will increase on 1,2 million griven. According to Kurljanda, the ferry is under construction exclusively on company money. As Natalia Bojtsun has informed journalists the deputy minister of economy, active growth of trade and economic cooperation of Ukraine with Organization member countries for democracy and economic development - Guam is now observed. «We give the positive forecast for development of economic processes... We are at such stage of cooperation where it is necessary to bring concrete results, to analyse a state of affairs and to pass to large mezhstranovym to projects», - has told Bojtsun. As she said, prospects of economic cooperation of the countries Guams will even more increase in connection with the organisation of a ferry Kerch-Poti. In April the Cabinet has approved the draught agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Georgia about the organisation direct international railway-ferry communication between ports Kerch (Ukraine) and Poti/Batumi (Georgia).
